  2. Installation notes for NetGate
  3. ------------------------------

  5. Some of the installation scripts provided here require Commodore's
  6. Installer utility. Since this utility is copyright it is not included in
  7. this distribution.

  9. If you are using Workbench 2.1 or later, you will find the Installer on
  10. your Workbench installation disk. Simply copy the program to your C:
  11. directory, or anywhere in your shell command path.
  12.  
  13. If you for some reason do not own or have access to the Installer, I have
  14. also provided a script for use with the IconX utility. This small utility
  15. allows execution of shell scripts from Workbench, and is widely available
  16. from most PD outlets (every Fred Fish library disk has it). If you don't
  17. have it handy, you can simply execute the installation script with
  18. C:Execute from any shell or CLI window.

  21. section in 'NetGate.guide', in the parent directory.
